It’s been an incredibly exciting few months here at Nutrition X and we can’t wait any longer to tell you about our brand-new sports nutrition service which we’re rolling out to professional clubs, athletes and individuals as of today: The Nutrition X Consultancy.
Aiming to transform the way that athletes of all disciplines and levels approach nutrition-related performance strategies, we’ve teamed up with world-leading sports scientist Professor Don Maclaren to lead a team of expert performance nutritionists and professional athletes to deliver a sports nutrition consultancy service like no other here in the UK.
Unlike other sports supplement companies, our Food First approach sits at the very heart of what we do at The Nutrition X Consultancy. As a result, our services are tailored to give clubs and athletes the insight, analysis and education they need in order to make informed nutrition decisions to support and enhance their performance.
Whether it be hydration testing, body composition analysis or a tailored meal plan you’re after – our team of experts can deliver the goods.
“This is something we’ve been passionate about for a very long time,” explains our MD James Markey, who will be leading the sports nutrition consultancy alongside Professor Don Maclaren. “We’ve worked with numerous top-tier clubs on the sports supplement side of things for a long time now, but the difference in our service has always been that we visit clubs to deliver expert-led seminars on a range of topics to improve their understanding of how nutrition can support performance efforts.
“We’re now taking this one step further, launching a dedicated sports nutrition consultancy that will offer clubs and athletes a breadth of specialist nutrition-focussed services like never before. We want the world of professional sport to wake up to the importance of giving athletes the in-depth level of support they need when it comes to nutrition, rather than simply relying on them to take the odd supplement here and there in an attempt to boost their performance. We’re making this easier than ever with the launch of what is essentially a one-stop shop for nutritional advice, planning and ongoing support, ensuring every athlete is given the tools they need to fully understand how they can use nutrition to their advantage in order to support and improve their athletic abilities.”
