Exciting news from the Nutrition X camp! We’re incredibly proud to announce that we’ll once again be working with York City Knights RLFC this season, working closely with the club to support the nutritional needs of each of the players with a programme of our scientifically-formulated supplements.
York City Knights will be incorporating a range of our specialist supplements into the nutritional programmes of each of the players, designed to boost performance during training and on game days. These are set to include Hydra+, our new fast-acting hydration tablet containing the required amounts of carbohydrates, electrolytes and vitamins needed to maintain hydration levels during a heated game, and Big Whey; our best-selling whey protein formula, vital for supporting muscle recovery.
Mark Helme, Strength and Conditioning Coach at York City Knights RLFC, commented on the partnership:
“I am really pleased that we have a partnership with Nutrition X for the 2018 season. As a club, we strive to create the best possible environment for our athletes to achieve their optimum performance, through professional coaching and a vibrant culture. As a team, we place nutrition extremely highly as part of that professional culture, as it maximises the efforts our players give in their training.”
“We understand the demands of semi-professional sport and recognise the challenges our athletes face. We have created a partnership with Nutrition X to help provide sports nutrition to our players as a way of helping them overcome these challenges and perform to their best ability. Nutrition X were the first choice for us, as they share our values of integrity and competitiveness and we hope that this partnership will help us achieve success this season.”
James Markey, Managing Director here at Nutrition X, also commented:
“To be working with the team at York City Knights once again this season is absolutely fantastic. We’ve had a great past two seasons working closely with each of the players to establish and support their nutritional needs and feel we’ve built a great understanding of how we can support their performance as best as possible during training and on game days. We’re really looking forward to seeing how they get on this coming season and wish them the best of luck!”
Good luck for the coming season guys!
