As the new football season gets well underway, so does our brand-new nutrition partnership with the mighty Bradford City A.F.C, who we’ll be working with as Official Sports Nutrition Partner to the club over the 2018/19 season.
The first time we’ll have worked in partnership with the League One giants, Bradford City will be integrating a range of our scientifically-formulated supplements into the nutrition strategies for each of the players; working closely with the strength and conditioning team to ensure that each of the player’s performance needs are fully supported.
Products set to be used by Bradford City include our best-selling, packing a whopping 20g of protein and just 1.2g of sugar in one 55g bar for powerful nutritional support on the go, our fast-acting energy drink favourite and our popular Big Whey .
Importantly, Bradford City came to us thanks to our dedication to player safety and clean sport, with each of our products batch-tested and Informed-Sport accredited.
“We’re really excited to be kicking off a partnership with Bradford City,” commented James Markey, our MD here at Nutrition X. “It’s clear that the club is dedicated to helping each of their players make the most of their sporting performances both on and off the pitch, recognising the importance of nutrition when it comes to supporting this. We look forward to getting to know the club over the coming season, working closely with them to deliver nutrition support that we hope will really make a difference.”
City Performance Coach Ben Nicholson has spoken of his delight at the news:
“It is fantastic to have Nutrition X on board with us and we will really benefit from the high-quality products they supply,” he said. "Conditioning and recovery are vital in terms of our chances of on-field success and this is another significant step forward for us, working with one of the leading nutrition suppliers in the country as we continue to demand more and more from the players. Nutrition X were extremely keen to work with us and we will be working to forge a long and successful partnership with James and the team.”
